Shorepointe Counseling is excited to announce the addition of Kelly Soley, LMSW, IMH-E (II) to its team.

Kelly graduated with her Masters of Social Work Degree from Wayne State University with a Dual Title in Infant Mental Health, and works with children with behavior, attachment, and development concerns.  Kelly also works with women in preparation and after giving birth, understanding the importance of a mother being supported to best support her baby.  These issues include postpartum depression and other perinatal mood disorders.  While working with young children, Kelly uses play-based therapy with the caregiver taking an active role in treatment of their child.
Kelly is endorsed by the Michigan Association of Infant Mental Health and has received certificate training in Perinatal Mood Disorders.

“We are extremely excited and fortunate to have Kelly join Shorepointe,” said Laura Bloom, founder and therapist at Shorepointe.  “With Kelly’s extensive experience and training, Shorepointe is now better able to meet the needs of children and mothers requiring mental health services.”
