K Soley

Kelly is a licensed Clinical Social Worker providing therapy to women, children and families.  Kelly graduated from Wayne State University with her Masters of Social Work with a dual-title in Infant Mental Health. Kelly is currently endorsed by the Michigan Association of Infant Mental Health. Kelly has also completed the certificate training in Perinatal Mood Disorders.

Kelly takes a non-judgmental approach with each individual and incorporates a variety of evidenced-based approaches including relational, psychodynamic and trauma-based, with the understanding that one approach does not fit all. Kelly also understands the importance of relationships, with the first being with herself and the client, on the path to healing.

Kelly specializes in working with children with behavioral, attachment and developmental concerns. Kelly also works with women in preparation of and after giving birth, understanding the importance of a mother being supported to best support her baby. While working with young children Kelly uses play-based therapy with the caregiver taking an active role in treatment of their child.
