Carmen is a limited licensed social worker at Shorepointe Counseling. She earned her bachelors of social work at Grand Valley State University, and graduated with her masters in social work from Wayne State University. She has clinical experience working with diverse populations and ages. She has specialized in helping elementary, middle, and high school aged adolescents through the complicated demands life can present.

Carmen is passionate about helping youth and adults find the talents and resilience within themselves. Carmen offers a safe, peaceful, and non-judgmental setting for her clients. She uses a person centered approach and utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques. Carmen looks forward to meeting you and helping you help yourself make the changes to improve your quality of life.
