Ashley is a licensed professional counselor with a Masters degree from Central Michigan University. Influenced by a background in crisis and early intervention, as well as treatment modalities from her years of working with children in the autism spectrum, Ashley is motivated by having witnessed the miracle of change. She believes in empowering the individual, and therefore utilizes cognitive behavior therapy with added elements of person-centered counseling towards evidence-based solutions to a variety of mental health concerns. She believes in honing clients’ interpersonal skills through the therapeutic alliance and working towards authenticity rather than perfection. Ashley offers a non-judmental and supportive environment for clients to safely work through difficulties based on their individual needs.
