Thomas Verkest, MA, LLP is Humanistic/Spiritual in orientation, client centered. He graduated in 1993 with his Master’s Degree in Clinical and Humanistic Psychology from The Michigan School of Psychology in Birmingham Michigan. His thesis was entitled “What is the Experience of Moving Through Self-Doubt”. It was recommended for publication. Thomas has his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan and graduated in 1983. He was cited for exceptional accomplishment in Psychology. He is supervised by Ms. Christine Haemmerle, PhD, on a monthly basis as required by the state of Michigan. He is certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), for PTSD resolution. He received his Certification in 1995.
Thomas attends workshops at least 2-3 times a year, reads current research that is available, and consults with peers to further his education in this field. He is confident and enjoys his work as a therapist/life coach.
