Julia “Jules” Pangborn-Harley, LPC

Julia “Jules” Pangborn-Harley is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Art Therapist. She graduated with her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Art Therapy from Wayne State University. She has dedicated her career to helping abused and neglected children, teens and their families heal through art therapy and counseling. After completing her internship, she went on to provide art therapy and intensive home-based therapy to children and teenagers with trauma and severe mental illnesses throughout the metro Detroit area.

Jules has recently received certification in providing Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy to children and teenagers. Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is an evidence-based form of therapy that helps children and teenagers heal from trauma. Jules is extremely passionate about helping children, teenagers and families heal from trauma and learn to cope with various mental illnesses. Jules practices an eclectic approach to counseling and art therapy, meeting her clients exactly where they are in their healing journeys and utilizing various therapeutic strategies best suited to their presenting problems. Jules is looking forward to walking alongside you and your children as they grow, mature and heal from life’s struggles.
